Second Half Report 

Real Madrid starts better while United struggled with the balls, with Lingard replaced with Rashford a better speed was observed in the early minutes. 

Manchester United 0-2 Real Madrid (Isco) 

Real Madrid got a two goal lead which was built up by Isco's one two pass, creating a chance in the box then finishing off behind David De'Gea for the second goal. 

54' Manchester United got close with a Paul Pogba header but the rebound was wasted by Lukaku's close range shot over the bar.

United would have gone two goals down after Bale's close range hit the woodwork but more was was looking on the way till Manchester United got a goal. 

Matic sent in a shot from just outside the box which couldn't meet the Madrid Goalie but created a rebound for Lukaku to finish from close range. 


Manchester United push in for an equalizer, pressing their Spanish opponents to the defense. Real Madrid actually lost all their grip on the game with plans of hitting United in a counter

Marouane Fellaini was brought in to replace Herrera but was almost replace in a head Collison with a Madrid defender.coming back in with a bandage helped revitalized the United side

Manchester United almost got leveled with Rashford's shot

92' Felaini's header almost got United leveled a minute into added time but Keylor Navas was up to the task. Asensio Manchester United defense demolition followed creating an opportunity for a series of shots for the competent David De'Gea. 

97' Game over, with Madrid edging their English opponents with a goal while Manchester United showed the need more work to be done in the defense and attacking positions.

🌐  Casemero (24') 

Manchester United had a better start forcing their Spanish opponents to the defense with good movement with the ball while Real Madrid gradually got into the game taking up all the 65% available possession.

Casemero headed a corner on the woodwork, sent a shot over and at the end got the Golden moment, putting the Spanish side ahead in the 24 minute, running in for a cross from Cavajal to finish off from close range.

A water break was observed as proposed by UEFA, due to the high temperatures of Macedonia.

The English side had a good play afterwards, controlling the balls but had their best chance of taking their first shot on goal wasted by Paul Pogba.

Isco created another chance by pushing the ball ahead of Matic, though hindered by his sliding tackle created another chance for a shot from Benzema at the competent De'Gea.

Manchester United finally had their first shot on goal, close to the final minutes of the fist half, a cross from Pogba, got to Lukaku's head but his header failed to trouble the Chilean.
