Lyon President Aulas Voices Financial Fair Play Concerns

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has voiced concerns over the financial dominance of Paris Saint Germain which he recently tagged "dangerous bubble"

Aulas welcomed the World record €222 Million  Brazilian Neymar to Ligue 1 telling France Football , he is not against the move but is concerned whether or not financial fair play (FFP) regulations worked.

"I am not an anti-PSG figure," Aulas said. "However, with the signing of Neymar, PSG's budget is at around €700m.

"As the club does not generate revenue to the height of such expenditure, this will unbalance an economy that was already struggling in the first place.

"There is also a positive, though. This might enable Ligue 1 to attract new partners and, particularly, negotiate new television rights."
He denied been envious of their Ligue 1 opponent, saying he applauded it but is worried of the future implications of it.

"With all due respect to FPP, since Michel [Platini] left UEFA, they have lost one of its greatest defenders.

"If FFP is no longer a preventative measure in Europe, the state must be able to step in and take the decisions to check and verify where the funding for these sorts of things came from."

Neymar's debut is still uncertain, as he still awaits his International transfer Certificate. He could make his debut this Sunday against Guingamp on Sunday if it arrives on time.
