The Brazilian International has been unveiled by French Giants PSG at the Parc des Princes on Friday after successfully clearing out his €222 Million buy out clause at FC Barcelona.

The Brazilian will be faced with the task of helping his team win the Ligue 1 trophy and also win the Champions League, regaining dominate in the French League.

The World record signing, who has successfully penetration down a five year deal with his new club has quickly dismissed the claim that he left because he wasn't a star at FC Barcelona. 

"I wanted to come to Paris and it was only linked to finding a new challenge. It is not because I was not the star at Barcelona, I fitted in very well there," the 25-year-old said.

"This is not what I am looking for here. PSG deserve trophies and I will have new trophies, this is what motivates me, I want to dream bigger."

The 25 year old also said, his Transfer wasn't driven by money and that he could have earned more elsewhere but he came to Ligue 1 because of His happiness and that of his family.

Neymar said: "I was never motivated by money. I thought above all else about of the happiness of my family, regardless of money. I regret that some people think this is the case.

"What I think about is happiness. If I was following the money I would maybe be in some other country."

The Brazilian had won Champions League and two La Liga titles during his four-year stay at the Nou Camp but said he needed other challenges an believes that Paris Saint Germain could offer him those opportunities. 

"This move is for ambition, they have a similar ambition to mine," Neymar added. "I want something bigger, a bigger challenge and my heart made that decision and made me follow.

"That is why I am here. I want to give my best to help the club win trophies. It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever taken."

Neymar spoke of his "He Stays" incident saying he had told his former teammate Gerald Pique not to publish the image as he never made his decision yet concerning the transfer.

"He published the picture but I'd asked him not to. I had not yet made my decision.
"He (Pique) wanted to express his feelings and I respect him, he's a great friend. The first person I told I was leaving was the Barca coach (Ernesto Valverde). He was the most important person to tell."

The Paris Saint Germain Boss believes that before the season runs out, the club will make run over profits from the transfer and that the club is clean concerning Financial Fair play rules.

Al-Khelaifi said: "Today, it might seem expensive. But in two years' time it might not anymore.

"We will make money together in the coming years as it is a two-brand project. For me it's a fantastic transfer. Concerning Financial Fair Play, we have always been transparent."
