FC Barcelona Accepts Neymar Fee From Paris Saint Germain

The Brazilian and FC Barcelona star is on his way out of Nou Camp with a world record transfer fee, as his "Buy Out Clause" of €220 Million has been accepted from French Giants Paris Saint Germain.

Earlier today, the deal was halted by La Liga representatives, who had refused to receive the money from the Brazil international's legal team which prompted the direct payment to FC Barcelona.

The Brazilian will be heading straight to the French capital to sign a five year deal which will keep him till 2022 and could also debut for the club in their Ligue 1 opening game Ameins on Saturday.

Neymar is set to become the most expensive player whose payment doubles that of Paul Pogba but despite the healthy movement of the deal, the Spanish Giants FC Barcelona has threatened to write to UEFA concerning the transaction and also to ensure the French side is keeping to Financial Fair Play Rules.

"On Thursday afternoon, Neymar Jr's legal representatives visited in person the club's offices and made the payment of €222m in the player's name with regards to the unilateral termination of the contract that united both parties," a Barcelona statement said.

"As such, the club will pass on to UEFA the details of the above operation so that they can determine the disciplinary responsibilities that may arise from this case."

Neymar has achieved a lot in his four tear stay at Catalonia helping Barca win one Champions League, two La Liga titles and three Copas del Rey as well as one FIFA Club World Cup and one Spanish Super Cup.
