Vettel Wins The 2017 Hungarian GP Increasing Lead To 14 Points

Sebastian Vettel has increased the championship points to 14 after winning the Hungarian GP ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas, who finished second and third respectively.
Vettel, who struggled with a steering issue for most of the race, should be thankful to team mate Kimi Raikkonen for not challenging him for the win.

Lewis Hamilton surrendered a third place position to teammate Bottas which will leave Mercedes driver 14 Points behind Vettel as they head into the summer break.

Lewis Hamilton had enough pace to catch the Ferrari rides but was held back by Raikkonen, as his pace wasn't enough to overtake rear-gunner Raikkonen but when he lunched an attack, he understeered in the dirty air being churned out by the Ferrari and nearly ran off the track at Turn Five.
It was noted that Lewis Hamilton, slowed down with almost 5 seconds in order to let teammate Bottas cross the line ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen..

The most controversial side of the race was the colliding of Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen at the second corner which handed Verstappen a 10 second penalty and no doubt limited Verstappen's challenge for the win.

Fernando Alonso finished sixth and  Team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne took 10th which eventually takes the Mclauren up from the bottom of the championship table ahead of Force Indias of Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez..
