Portugal Seal a Late Comeback For Bronze Medals At The Confederations Cup
2/7/2017

Portugal came from a goal deficit to clinch third place position at the Confederations Cup in Moscow.

The Mexicans had themselves lucky to take the Lead, 10 minutes into the second half with an Owned goal from Neto and it looked like, it was going to be the difference in a very cagey encounter.

Andre Silva wasted an early opportunity from the spot in the first half before the Mexicans had the one goal lead but the high attacking Portuguese side came back into the game with Pepe's equaliser in stoppage time to cancel out an own goal from Luis Neto.

Andre Silva kept his cool converting the second penalty of the game with 15 minutes into the extra time. The Penalty was as a result of Miguel Layun block of Martins' flick with a raised arm.

The game ended with two red cards for each side ( Semedo and Jimenez), as each tried to change or keep the game in their favour.
