Manchester United settled with two points after a series of penalty shoot outs. David De'gea saved three and conceded one while the last one by Casemero (who scored the equalizer from the penalty spot)  sent his shot to the woodwork.

Casilla also had a good day but conceded a goal more get pass him leaving the Spanish giants with just a point on the ICC Cup table.

90 minutes 

Real Madrid forced their opponents to defend while increasing the pressure them but unfortunately for them there was not enough time to get a winner


86 minutes

The game is now partially dominated by the Real Madrid youngsters with long run of slick passes and despite the presence of Lukaku, Manchester United are still having goal scoring issues of last season, Felaini losing their best opportunity since the equalizer.

74 minutes 

Lindelof's first mistake at United's defense has cost United the lead : a miscalculated tackle in the box, and Casemero made no mistake from the box with a bullet shot.

Few minutes later a magnificent free kick from the Left corner could have given Real the lead but De'gea was up to the task.


65 minutes

The young boys brought in by Zinedine Zidane feel less after by the goal deficit failing to make progress in United's final third while Manchester United are increasingly looking likely to add more Goals.

50 minutes

Jose Mourinho made a couple of changes to the United squad bringing in David De'gea, Pogba, Herrera (who got subbed off few minutes into the second 45),Lukaku, Blind, Lindelof,  Smalling and Damian 

Manchester United seemed to have lost their grip on the ball, as the new players found it difficult to settle

Half Time


45 minutes

Anthony Martial showed his hidden capabilities in the last minutes of the first 45, incredibly dribbling into the Real Madrid defense, then set up Lingard for a close finish, sealing a lead before half  time.

Jose Mourinho will be pleased with his second team, who almost got over powered by the powerful Spanish giants before the opener.

25 minutes

Real Madrid started getting into the game at the 23, with improvements getting more noticeable in their attack and skillful play but still lacking penetration due to Manchester United's well arranged and disciplined defense..

Lingard had been the first to shoot at Keylor Navas with a shot from from distance, which showed United's intent but failed to shake the keeper.

15 minutes

Jose Mourinho lined up a relatively weak team to face Real Madrid and will be happy so far with their performance throughout 20 minutes into the first 45, as they controlled most of the possession though failing in penetration in the final third.
