Fast rising contender Gilbert Burns brought former Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley some rude awakening in the main event of UFC On ESPN 9 Main event on Saturday night at the Apex Center.

Woodley went into the fight after almost more than a year away from the Octagon and his return wasn't as palatable as he perceived, with Gilbert Burns pressuring and dominating him from the opening round till the end to win a unanimous decision 50-44 twice and 55-45 on the Judges scorecards.
“I’m very happy. I trained so hard for this fight. I knew I could do it. I was calling this guy out for a reason,” Burns told Daniel Cormier in his post-fight interview. “My name now has got to be the No. 1 contender. The Real Madrid Star James Rodriguez has finally made his way down to the German giant Bayern Munich On a two year loan deal with an option of a full transfer, subject to a medical.

Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "We are delighted to have realised this transfer. It was our coach Carlo Ancelotti's big wish to sign James Rodriguez, following their successful spell working together in Madrid.


"James is a versatile player. He's dangerous in front of the goal, sets up a lot of strikes and takes great set pieces. Without a doubt, we've increased the quality of our squad with this transfer once again."

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Juventus had been interested on the the Columbian but the Spanish giants had their price too high to pay.

"Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have agreed the loan of the player James Rodriguez for the next two seasons, pending the completion of a medical," the Madrid statement read. "Bayern Munich reserve the right to buy the player at the end of the loan period."
