Alexandre Lacazette Completes Move To Arsenal With Five Year Deal

Arsenal has official completed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, which has been completed and confirmed with an undisclosed fee on Wednesday evening.

Sources have it that the former Lyon forward Joins the Gunners with a five year deal after Arsenal agreed a club-record deal which could rise to £52m over the course of his contract.

Manager Arsene Wenger informs Arsenal's official website: "We are very happy to have Alexandre join our group. He has shown over a number of years that he can score goals and that he is a very efficient finisher.

"As well, he has very interesting technical qualities and a strong character. So he is a guy who is a great addition for us, and someone who will help us challenge at the top level this season."

Lacazette who is now 26, will join Arsenal as they all head to Sydney for their Pre season tour in Australia. And his debut will he on the 29th of July in the Emirates Cup against Benfica of Mr against Sevilla on the 30th.

There had been links between the French Man and Atletico Madrid but this failed to materialize as the Court of Arbitration for Sport had their ban on the club upheld.

His record of 28 league goals last season was more than the combined numbers of Arsenal quartet Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez.
