(MMA) UFC President Dana White Blasts Boxing Legend Oscar De La Hoya Over McGregor-Mayweather Statement

It's almost been a week of Boxing Legend Oscar De La Hoya on media, fighting the idea of the McGregor-Mayweather fight saying it's "disrespect to boxing", which has not gone well with UFC President Dana White, who landed a reply on the matter with two videos on social media having the caption "WTF?????".

The First video had the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions Oscar De La Hoya speaking of the Conor McGregor Vs Floyd Mayweather as a disrespect to boxing while the second video, which was shot four months ago had De La Hoya speaking positively on a potential boxing match between McGregor and Canelo Alvarez, who is presently under  the Golden Boy Promotions.

White Speaks To TMZ

"This could be one of those fights where the press conference is 1,000 times better than the fight -- you know how the press conference is going to be," White said, speaking about Mayweather-McGregor. "But nobody can tell a fight until a fight is over.

"Just like -- hey, Oscar -- when I showed up in my seat to watch Canelo-Chavez. The fight sucked. You know the fight sucked. The whole world knows the fight sucked. You've got a better fight in [Gennady Golvkin] and Canelo [announced for Sept. 16]. Be confident about what you're doing. Be a little confident about your business, Oscar. And don't s--- on other people's stuff. It makes you look weird, especially when you wanted this fight four months ago.

"Talk about two-faced and contradicting and the list goes on and on ..."

White On Espn

"I've always had a pretty decent working relationship with Oscar, and it was just completely out of left field and out of character for him. And, I think, a bad way to handle it. You know? What do you care if these two fight?"
