Floyd Mayweather Vs Conor McGregor Fight Confirmed And Happening August 26th


The Undefeated Floyd Mayweather is returning from retirement and has announced his Boxing fight with MMA Champion Conor McGregor, which is set to hold on the 26th of August, 2017 in Las Vegas.

Both fighters went on social media to confirm their fight. Floyd Mayweather posted "it's official" on his Instagram page, with He and McGregor appearing on his posted picture, while Conor McGregor posted, "the fight is on" on Twitter with a picture of him and Floyd Mayweather's father.

The 40-year-old Mayweather is unbeaten as a professional boxer and announced his retirement after winning his 49th consecutive bout against Andre Berto in September 2015.

Conor McGregor 28, has been so serious about the fight, which finally got official this week. Nevada boxing officials approving the date on Wednesday. McGregor has become one of the most recognisable mixed martial artists in the world since he won the UFC featherweight title in December 2015.

The fight started out as a series of social network exchanges, which was where Conor McGregor told the Boxing Legend to sign up for the fight.

"Conventional wisdom says that Mayweather, who is probably the finest pure boxer of his generation and maybe one of the best of all-time, has a massive advantage going into this fight.
"Conor McGregor is a massive star in MMA and UFC but has never gone inside a boxing ring before.

"But, there is the element of the unknown. Floyd Mayweather is 41 now and has been out of the ring for two years.

"People are asking, 'If Conor can hit him with his powerful left hand, will Mayweather be able to survive that?'."
