CIES - Harry Kane and Alli are worth more than Lionel Messi And Ronaldo

Tottenham fowards Harry Kane and Dele Alli are worth more than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, according to a new study by CIES Football Observatory.

England pair Kane, 24, and Alli, 21, are valued at £135.5 million and £136.9m, respectively, ranking them behind only Barcelona's Neymar (£185.9m), and above fourth-placed Messi (£133.9m) and evergreen Ronaldo (£99.2m), the oldest player on the list, in 11th.
Antoine Griezmann (£132.6m), Luis Suarez (£124.2m), Manchester United's world-record signing Paul Pogba (£118.5m), Gonzalo Higuain (£106.1m), Chelsea's Eden Hazard (£103.4m) and Paulo Dybala (£101.7m) make up the top 10.

The research group calculates values by the performance of players and their clubs in Europe's top five leagues, international status, contract, age and position. The rankings are dominated by the Premier League, with even the 10th most expensive English-based player -- Kane and Alli's Tottenham teammate Eric Dier -- worth £75m, compared to just £41.6m for the tenth most-valuable in the German Bundesliga.

Other Premier League players in the top 20 include Kevin De Bruyne (£98m), Romelu Lukaku (£93m), Raheem Sterling (£87m), Alexis Sanchez (£85m) and Roberto Firmino (£75m).

Team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo is the oldest player to make the list at 32 years old, ranking No 11 at £99m, Monaco's 18-year-old striker Kylian Mbappe is the youngest, with the Arsenal target ranking No 18 at £82m And In total, 110 players based in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 are valued above £35m.
