Terence Crawford vs. Felix Diaz : WBC and WBO World Super Lightweight Titles Defense Fight

Terence "Bud" Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs) 29, will he defending his WBC and WBO world super lightweight titles against Felix Diaz (19-1, 9 KOs) 33, today at the at Madison Square Garden, New York.

Crawford has dominated the lightweight division for a while now and Boxing fans have watched this incredible Boxer turn out to be one of the best in the ring, with 21 KOs and this will be his second title defense after beating the then-undefeated Viktor Postol by unanimous decision in July 2016, who was then a threat to his ever growing Boxing career.

Diaz is a Southpaw and a very good fighter, though shorter than Crawford and his reach also 70" to 67" shorter which will give Crawford some advantage, who could go for more Jabs or use of counter punches, maybe switch stance to take Diaz by surprise.

Diaz has a low knockout record and is dropping some weights to face Crawford, which leaves him capable of taking in some Crawford's hits. The last time Diaz fought below 140 was against Adrian Granados in November 2014, which saw him win by split decision.

Crawford looks to Unify the titles at 140 but will have to go through Diaz today, if he stands a chance at doing that in sometime in the near future. Assuming he gets the victory on Saturday, more opportunities should open up for one of the sport's best talents maybe Manny Pacquiao or Julius Indongo (22-0, 11 KOs), a 34-year-old Namibian southpaw who beat Ricky Burns to capture the IBF and IBO world titles.
