(Cycling) Belgian Serge Pauwels Wins first Career Victory At Tour de Yorkshire

The 33 year old Serge Pauwels riding for Team Dimension Data, won his first Career victory by winning the Tour De Yorkshire, clinched the title as he won the final stage of the race, from Bradford to Fox Valley.

He was congratulated first by his teammate Omar Fraile, who finished second for his Long awaited win, Jonathan Hivert of Direct-Energie was third, with BMC's Brent Bookwalter fourth and Tao Geoghegan Hart fifth making his debut on British soil.

The riders had to go through a tough eight categorized climbs of over 3700 meters of ascending but at the end, he eased clear as he descended to Fox Valley to cross the line.

The race had many trills, as the stage two winner stage two winner Nacer Bouhanni crashed badly and unconscious while on a long descent into Deepcar but was later reported by his teammate to be gaining consciousness.
