Arsenal Vs Chelsea : 2016/2017 FA Cup Final Match Preview And Predictions

Arsenal have a chance of winning a trophy this season as they take on Chelsea on Saturday in the FA Cup Final At Wembly.

Both teams have had opposite fortunes this season. Chelsea, after being trash three nil by Arsenal, went on a 13 Game winning streak then crowned it with a League win while Arsenal totally lost out of the Champions League Qualification spots registering their worst season in a very long time..

The dominance of the Six managers was also observed in the FA Cup as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, all made it to the Quarter Final and this goes a long way to show how much Chelsea and Arsenal imputed to the competition to deserve this Spot in the Final.

Chelsea defeated Manchester City 4-2 in the Semi Finals to book a place in the Final after Sending Manchester United out in the Quarter Final while Arsenal finished off Manchester City 2-1 in the Semi Finals with a late goal in the extra time.

On The Road To Wembly

Arsenal:
Third Round - Preston North End 1-2 Arsenal
Fourth Round - Southampton 0-5 Arsenal
Fifth Round - Sutton United 0-2 Arsenal
Quarter Final - Arsenal 5-0 Lincoln City
Semi Final - Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City

Chelsea
Third Round - Chelsea 4-1 Peterborough United
Fourth Round - Chelsea 4-0 Brentford
Fifth Round - Wolves 0-2 Chelsea
Quarter Final - Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United
Semi Final - Chelsea 4-2 Tottenham

Team News

Arsene Wenger is having a big defense selection issue, as Laurent Koscielny is suspended, Gabriel is out injured and Shkodran Mustafi is struggling with concussion which means the inexperienced Rob Holding and Mertesacker will be holding the defense for Arsenal.

Chelsea on the other hand, have had a few injury scares this season and presently do not have any injury concerns as they head into the final.

Predictions

Chelsea have been close to invisible this season having only few teams defeat them in all competitions but I feel Arsenal has more to fight for than Chelsea and could possibly cause some damage in the Chelsea defense but I see Chelsea taking a narrow win

Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea
