Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City : Hazard A Force To Recon With



The Blues recovered from their 2-1 loss over Crystal Palace in the weekend to defeat Manchester City with the same scoreline at home at Stanford Bridge. Hazard netting twice to ensure they still lead with seven points on the Premier League Table.
Hazard scored twice in the game, 10 minutes into the game and 10 minutes before half time to make void Sergio Aguero's equalizer. The Midfielder opened the scoring with a deflected shot, the City Keeper failed to get a good grasp of the ball handed the Blues an early lead.
Aguero equalized in the 26th minute, when Courtois erroneous clearance landed on Silva's feet but was able to save Silva's shot but a rebound by Aguero was beyond Courtois grips to score the equalizer.
City trailed again after at the 35th minute, the referee pointed to the penalty Spot after Pedro was thrown to the floor by Fernandino but the Hazard's penalty wasn't good as the rebound he quickly shot after Caballero's poor penalty save, giving Chelsea the deserved lead.
The Second 45 had City searching for an equalizer throughout, failing to take their chances due to a perfectly defensive host though they had a chance in the Dying minutes, but Stones failed to take it.
Manchester City are now four games without a win and presently occupying the fourth position also having just two points ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal, who both share the same points in the fifth and sixth position respectively.
