101 Year Old Woman Wins Gold In 100m : World Masters Games in Auckland

Man Kaur is a 101 Year old Woman who is now a growing sensation, as She keeps proving that age cannot stop you from achieving success.

Man Kaur who hails from Chandigarh, India, at the World Masters Games in Auckland became the Oldest Athlete to win a Gold Medal in a 100 meter race breaking all Records. The Multi Sporting Event which is held every four years features only those at the age of 35 and above, earning it a name "Olympics for veterans".

Kaur who competed with Her number 10001, showcased her Number in the bid to show off her Age and even had her own Celebration dance at the Event. The Great Grand Mother competed in numerous competitions at the event, She won the 100m in 74s also Winning a Gold medal in 200m and will be competing in the Shot put throw today and Javelin throw on Thursday.

Last summer, she competed in the American Masters Games in Canada and has won over 20 Gold Medals since she started competing. Despite having severe osteoporosis and a curved spine, the centenarian's health is good and she is in no way stopping. 

"I will run as long as Guru's (God's) grace is with me. Although I am in such a state of health and I have improved my performance in these games, I will definitely perform better if there is some medical help," Kaur told CNN.

Her Home India and Her big Family are very proud of Her. She has three children, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, Earning her praise from Indian Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu, who called her inspirational in a tweet Tuesday.
