West Ham United - Chelsea : The Blue Recover Ten Point Lead 3/17

WEST HAM UNITED 1-2 CHELSEA

The Blues recovered their 10 point lead trashing beating West Ham United 1-2  with Eden Hazard's great goal and Costa's goal in the second 45 and a consolation for the loser's.

The Game was more physical at the beginning though Chelsea looked the ones with more penetrating power Hazard coming close a number of times before his quick run, a 1 2 with Pedro before rounding Darren Randolph and shutting in the first goal which triggered the angry reaction of a West Ham United fan.

The Hammers trailed the first half, though coming close for a leveler, one or two times before the Half time whistle.

The second half was less lose as the West Ham defense failed to hold back the Chelsea attack. Five minutes after the break Diego Costa added one more goal, taking advantage of a Wrongfully defended Corner to slide home a good finish.

The Game had some more drama as Snodgrass came closer more than ones to reducing the deficit but failed as the Chelsea defense was always up to the task but at the 90th minute a consolation was given West Ham United by Manuel Lanzini, fired home a nice shot beating Thibaut Courtois.

Chelsea, with an FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester United next on the agenda, have their sights firmly trained upon the double.
