Tottenham 6-0 Millwall (FA Cup Quarter Final) : The Spurs Join Arsenal And City In Semi Finals

Tottenham Hotspur 6-0 Millwall: Heung-Min Son nets a Hat-trick

Tottenham Hotspur proceeded to the FA Cup Semi Finals defeating League One Millwall 6 Nil but losing Harry Kane to Ankle injury and Heung-Min Son Scored a Hat-trick to crown the weekend  for Pochettino's Men.

The League one side had been on a 17 game unbeaten run which had seen them dump three Premier League sides out of the competition. Christian Erikson started the scoring in the 31st minute, Christian Eriksen, not Janssen, had replaced Kane and after half an hour he latched on to the ball from Alli’s chest-down to sweep a first-time shot low and beyond stand-in goalkeeper Tom King.

Heung-Min Son who had been sent racist chants early in the match, had been destined to beet imaginations today, breaking into the Millwall box and sending into the net a powerful curl well beyond King's grasp for the second goal and the first in his three goals.
Completely overwhelmed by the speed and drive of the Tottenham side, the Visitors had no penetrating power and hence, could not come up with any good opportunity but tried to cope toll the first half finished 2 Nil.

Four goals were added in the second half, Heung-Min Son opening up the scoring 9 minutes after the break. Son being picked out by Trippier with a fine, arcing ball down the right which he met with a controlled volley inside the area to catch out King.
By now, the dreams of moving forward in the FA Cup was gone and what was left now was the need to stop the Spurs attack from  adding but weren't as Winks, Trippier and Eriksen combined for the latter to cross low and accurately. A yard out, Alli sent the ball high into the net.

Vincent Janssen who have had some difficulty scoring goals scored  with his first shot sent the ball across the line for the fifth before Son ended his  Hat-trick with the last Shot in the game sending the South London team out of the competition.
