Monaco 3-1 Manchester City ( UEFA Champions League Round Of 16 2nd Leg) : Monaco Come Back To Stun City



Manchester City are knocked out of the Champions League by Monaco who fell behind 5-3 in the first leg, they came back to Stun City 3-1, which ended with a 6-6 aggregate and the French side scaled through to the Quarter final.

The French side started the scoring early in the 8th minute, Kylian Mbappe Lottin slotting in Bernardo Silva's low cross from Close range to take the lead. The French side displayed some good football that ended up pushing the English side into some serious defending and by the 15th minute their second goal was disallowed for offside.
The French side made City unable to c settle into the game, pushing the City side to the final third and their defense sitting in the Halfway line
And by the 29th minute the second goal,  Fábio Henrique Tavares who, assisted by Mendy, with a low cross buried it behind the net for a two goal lead.



Circling out the City attackers Sane, Aguero, Sterling, Silva, and De Bruyne, made them less effective in the Clash, by half time the aggregate was 5-5 with Monaco  prepared to proceed if the scores remain the same by 90 minutes.
City eventually got back into the game pushing into the Monaco side and this payed off as  Leroy Sané was there to send into the net a rebound from Raheem Sterling's shot into the net to spark hope of Qualification in the visitors.

But all hope was taken away when the English side conceded again just 6 minutes from the time the hope was conceived. Tiémoué Bakayoko scored his second, this time assisted by Thomas Lemar perfect Cross from a free kick for a wonderful header that restored their two goal lead and with that Monaco scaled through to join Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Leicester, Barcelona, Real Madrid, E. T. C. For the Semi Finals.
