Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United (FA Cup Quarter Final)

Jose Mohrinho side sailed out of the FA Cup at Stanford Bridge courtesy of Kante's Beautiful Shot in the 51st minute which remained the difference between the two sides after 90 minutes of play and four minute added time.

Manchester United were reduced to 10 men in the 35th minute as the referee showed the second yellow to Ander Herrera for his tackle on Eden Hazard, this reduced the the intensity of the United Attack though immediately after the Red card Henrikh Mkhitaryan who had the best attacking potential was replaced with Marouane Fellaini for a more defensive play.

N'Golo Kante's 25 yard strick pushes the Blues over to the Semi's, the premier League best Central Midfielder went head to head with Paul Pogba who is the most expensive player and proving his worth, he buried that shot behind the one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League David De'gea.

Manchester United started out great against the Blues attacking them down to their defense but things changed after the United side was reduced to 10 men, pushing United in for good defending and leaving the midfield for Kante to dominate.

Pogba didn’t have a bad game against Chelsea, but he was forced to sacrifice himself once again, especially after Herrera’s sending off which was Chelsea's liberation as the side were less penetrating as compared to after the Red had been shown.

Chelsea now head into the Semi Finals and those they might potential meet include three other top flight teams which include Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City.
