Arsenal 1-5 Bayern Munich (2-10 agg)  2nd Leg UEFA Champions League Knock Out Stages



Arsenal had an identical score with their first leg fixture, conceding five goals (2-10 agg) . The Arsenal side started out well, taking more of the balls and creating chances, which paid of with a Theo Walcott 20th Minute goal.

Theo Walcott seem more dangerous than any other player on the Arsenal side but lacked accuracy, hitting the side netting before the break. The determination in the Arsenal side would have given them a win but fatigue was already setting in due to the rush, Sanchez was already pictured pausing for some Air.


The German side took over the second half though few minutes into the second 45 looked like it was going to be like the first till Laurent Koscielny tripped on Lewandowski which reduced the Arsenal side to 10 men and a good penalty by Robert Lewandowski leveled the game.
A good run by Arjen Robben which was finished of by his left footed curled shot gave the visitors a lead  ending any hopes of Qualification for the English side.

A series of changes for the German side changed the attack making it too fast for the Arsenal team this let lose the Arsenal defense so quickly giving Douglas Costa an opportunity to Capitalize On a failed counter by the Arsenal players living him with just one defender and the goalkeeper and from over 20 yards he curled home for the third.
While the the last two goals came from the ever active Arturo Vidal, in the 80th and 85th minute of the game.
