Arsenal 2 - 0 Hull City : Sanchez Nets Twice To Keep Top Four Hopes Alive

The Gunners went back to winning ways at the Emirate Stadium against a 10-man Hull City with Sanchez the Man Of The Match.

Arsene Wenger watched from the stands as he served his final of his four match touch line ban, his team had fallen twice back to back to Watford and Chelsea respectively.

The Chilean had his first goal in on controversial terms which attracted an apology from the Clattenburg after the game. The goal was moved into the net from Sanchez hand in the 34 minute which had almost decided the match, till that 90th minute hand ball from Sam Clucas.

An opportunity which was taken neatly by Sanchez moving his goal tally to 17 and also cementing their place in the top four at least for the weekend

Arsene Wenger speaking to Match of the Day: "We were resilient, focused and organised, but a bit with the handbrake on as we were under pressure to win the game. In the end perhaps we were fortunate to get away with a positive result.

Hull boss Marco Silva told BBC Sport: "The most important thing is the result. It was a very good second half. We had control of it and caused Arsenal problems.
"They started the game better than us and after the story of the first half they score with handball. We didn't deserve this result.
