Claudio Ranieri won the Best FIFA Men's Coach of the Year 2016

Claudio Ranieri took away the Best FIFA Men's Coach of the Year which is well deserved as he, with an average team coming from no where, in their second season after promotion, taking the premier League by storm and ensuring the trophy was lifted.

Claudio Ranieri was up against Zinedine Zidane who lead Real Madrid to Champions League glory and Fernando Santos who with Portugal won the Euro 2016 and everyone just had to give the Leicester Boss an award for his ground breaking team building and motivation in last year's performance.

Leicester have presently qualified from group stage of the Champions League though now facing problems in the League, winning 4 out of six competitive marches of the group stage to secure a place in the Champions League Knock Out stages.

"What a fantastic evening for not only to be here with a lot of legends but to win as well," he said on stage at the ceremony.

"I'm crazy now! Very crazy. Thank you so much. I want to thank my wife, my agent and of course my players. Without them it's difficult for the manger to win something.

"Also, the fans. What happened last season in England was amazing, something strange. The god of football said Leicester must win!

"Dani Alves said he could still do more at his age - my age is 65! I start now to make a manager."
