Chelsea 1-0 West Bromwich Albion : Costa Nails The Baggies At Stanford Bridge

Stanford Bridge has had quiet a time in the Premier League this season, they have not lost any game since September which pushes them to the Apex of the premier League Table.

Winning at home against Tottenham and a 3-1 win away at Ethiad, it is evident they are not letting a loss slip into their system any soon. But today they face the Baggies who have won 3 out of their six last fixtures and a draw and  two loses. History tells us, the Baggies have lost 8 of their last 10 games with two draws.

From kick off, the Baggies wasted no time in declaring their intent, creating a couple of chances in the first 10 minutes but the game got leveled as Chelsea picks momentum though West Bromwich enjoyed some prolonged possession. Kante, Harzard, Costa, and Luis had their chances to push the host one goal ahead in the first 45 but failed only Luis could boast of a Shot on target.

The Chelsea side made many hits on the west Brom defense but could not make the ball go behind Foster, David Luiz taking the set pieces and all looking very close till Costa finally found the net at the 76th minute.

Chelsea increases their Unbeaten run, top the League with three points, while West Bromwich Albion remain a point behind United pending their game later this afternoon.
