Manchester United Vs West Ham United : EFL CUP Quarter Final Match Review

Manchester United will host West Ham again this Wednesday at Old Trafford which is the second time in a four days span. Both teams settled for a draw after 90 minutes of physical football at Old Trafford Last weekend in the Premier League 13th fixture but this time a winner must emerge, qualified for the Semi Finals of the EFL CUP.

Manchester United will have to go withoute Pogba and Marouane Fellaini as both players picked up their fifth bookings of the season. Manchester United will be left to choose from their reserved Midfielders including Michael Carrick, Schweinsteiger who has not had play time since March, surprisingly named on the bench in the 1-1 draw against West Ham United in the weekend, there might be some hope for him.

Diafra Sakho the West Ham goal scorer will be missing this one due to Ham string injury, while Andy Carroll seem close to knee injury recovery but unsure for featuring. The Hammers have to do better than their weekend performance if they are to qualify for the Semi Finals.

Ander Herrera had some few things to say about this one

"It's positive that we are playing on Wednesday, when we can get revenge," the Spaniard added. "We can turn our luck in the next game in the EFL Cup.

"It doesn't matter the competition, it doesn't matter the game, we just want to win. We want to fight for everything and we want to make our fans proud.

"It's positive that we are playing on Wednesday, when we can get revenge."

Predictions

Manchester United stand the better side in this fixture but as the weekend tie, it's not going to be an easy work over for United hence the game might go draw in 90 minutes or 1nil in favour of Manchester United.

Manchester United 1-0  West Ham
Manchester United 1-1  West Ham
