EPL Teams Make Good Start In League Cup Campaign

The League Cup yesterday was  a show of great football action as most EPL teams showed their dominance in the matches played yesterday.

Crystal Palace hosted Blackpool, beating their opponents with two goals to Nil and before first 60 minutes the game was all decided as all two goals where in early in the second 45.

Liverpool who had a bad weekend made an outstanding 5 to Nil win over their host Burton Albion with goals by Divock Origi 15', Roberto Firmino 22', an own goal at 61' and Daniel Sturridge goals at 78', 83' making up for thier loss in the weekend and also without conceding which is a great development.

Chelsea also had a win, though not with great margin as that of Liverpool. The goals in the match came mostly in the first 45 minutes of the game with Chelsea leading 3-1, all goals came in before 50 minutes as the opponent scored the last goal for the match via a penalty which came up as a very bad defensive action.

Everton went all spectacular yesterday as they won their visitors " Yeovil Town" 4 Nil,  scoring 1 in the first 45 and scoring the last three in the last 20 minutes of the match, the Everton side had a better opposition in the first half but due to fatigue, the Everton side latter registered their dominance,  taking that deserved win.

Hull City has been all good this first few matches of the season, winning all two of their League match and yesterday came from the behind to win 3-1. The team has shown alot of determination to make an impact this season though they where underrated before the start of the season.

Swansea City were also hosted by Peterborough United, showing their superiority they made the goal shake 3times before the Half time whistle, latter in the game tiredness and fatigue came in and they couldn't control the defence as they  did earlier, this lead to them conceding a goal before the second 45 we over.The game ended 1-3.

Stoke City were hosted by Stevenage and there the premiere League side made great win with a 4 goal margin, scoring 2 in both halves. The Game was all Stoke  as they dominated their host most of the match. Peter Crouch scored three with all a stunning finish and Phil Bardsley one to complete the goal tally.

Watford met their doom at home as their visitors " Gillingham" stunned them with  a 1-2 win, who drew  the first half, but conceeded early in the second half. Came back from their slumber to win the Premier division side, scoring thier first goal in the 82' and second at 102'.
