Alex Ferguson's Greatest Ever Mistake

Sir Alex Ferguson, the greatest ever Manchester United boss who had as much achievement at old Trafford had also made some mistakes, just as every other Managers had made or will make during their stay as respective Managers at their different other clubs.

Few years ago, Manchester United had Paul Pogba, a young star with a lot of potential under their sleeves. But the club failed to utilize this opportunity, neglecting the boy as there where many good players whose profiles Paul Pogba did not match. Though according to Sir Alex Ferguson, he was eager to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford after the first three year deal the boy had with the Red Devils but the arrival of his agent Mino Raiola, Accepting the fact that he didn't like Raiola from the start with the phrase " we were like water and oil", the Agent had already gone deep with the player, his family so he could not stop the boy from leaving. Looking at this critically, you would notice because of this Sir Alex Ferguson neglected the player and under-rated the boy as a potential first  choice player, I believe it also catalyzed the boy's move to where  he cold get more play time.

Looking closely at the turn of events, the Manchester United player rejected about four years ago is back with a world record fee, don't you see with me the mistake done by the greatest ever Manchester United boss. Neglecting Paul Pogba and choosing Rafael even when he knew nobody would say Rafael is a good choice at midfield. Sold by SiR Alex Ferguson in 2012 for a little fee of £800000 to the Juventus, where obviously he had learned a lot to be worth taking back with £92.2m added to their selling price in 2012. Something you know might not have happened if the player stayed at Manchester United in 2012.

The deal people observed a positive move forward for the Manchester United team which reflects how bad a mistake Alex Ferguson made in letting the French boy leave Old Trafford. Though other mistakes where made by this manager during his time at Old Trafford, this remains one of the greatest as others like Roy Keane, David Beckham and Jaap Stam where also great mistakes made by this great Manager but none compares to this as this one just caused the club a record transfer fee no club will be willing to pay.
